So I am starting a blog as a pathetic means to not only achieve self-actualization, but to reach Internet celebrity. The chances of me actually reaching that goal {the second one} are next to nothing seeing as how I am easily forgettable, but please, forgive me. I try to leave an imprint in your brain, but fail nonetheless. Oh well, it happens.

As of right now, I have absolutely nothing to say about anything or anyone {which is probably why I am so forgettable since I am no longer much of a talker}, I'll make a list of 3 reasons why I don't want to go to college {or not really looking forward to it, anyways}

1. College doesn't guarantee a financially secure job- A lot of people tell me that going to college will increase my likliness of getting a high paying job which in my opinion is bullshit. I know so many people who went to college, have gotten degrees in areas A, B, and C, who are heavily determined and hardworking, but now have jobs that pay minimum wage or higher. College does not guarantee anything.

2. The College experience is overrated- "College is a great experience, if you don't go, you'll regret it!" No, I won't because I don't regret a lot of things in my life. I'm sort of like a robot where I don't have certain feelings and regret is one of them. The chances are, I won't have the college experience EVERYONE is planning on recieving, but that part of my life will be replaced with other experiences that will ultimately define me. The college experience is not the determining factor in what or who I become, its the decisions I make in life OUTSIDE of college that end up shaping who I am as a person.

3. Paying for the first two years is a waste seeing as how its just G.E. {General Education} - My general plan is to go to community college for the first two years to finish the G. E. requirements while saving thousands of dollars. Many people {particularly teachers} hate my plan simply because I'm missing out on the "full experience college has to offer". Read point 2
